46 Women Who Are Changing the Game — Rich Girl Summer Edition Reading Letter from our CEO Milan Harris: REBORN — Year 13 5 minutes

Dreamer,

This year marks 13 years of Milano Di Rouge, thirteen years of building, growing, falling, learning, praying, and becoming.

When I look back, I see that every detour, delay, win, and lesson along the way formed what we now call the Dream Star. (I’ll be sharing another letter soon to explain what the Dream Star really means because it’s not just our symbol, it’s your story too.)

We didn’t understand it then, but now we see it was all part of God’s process.
And that’s what Reborn means to me.

Reborn is about letting go of who you were and becoming who you were called to be.
It’s about trusting God’s process even when it doesn’t make sense.

Some of y’all may know that I got baptized last year.
That moment was my reset, my surrender. Since then, “Reborn” has been the word on my heart. It’s guided me through a season of deep reflection, growth, and alignment, a time where I’ve learned to hear God more clearly and trust His timing.

And now, for our 13-year anniversary, I want to give that word meaning.
Because since that baptism, I’ve walked through what I now call the journey of becoming.

I had to release who I was.
Receive what God had for me.
Reflect on who I’m becoming.
And then rise into who He created me to be.

But I’ll be honest, that process wasn’t easy.
Releasing hurts.
Letting go of things that once fit, even when they no longer serve you, can feel like losing a piece of yourself.
But you can’t receive new blessings while still holding on to what’s behind you.

And reflection… reflection is the hardest part.
It’s where you face yourself, not who people say you are, but who you really are.
It’s where you ask:
Who have I become?
What’s been holding me back?
Who do I need to forgive, not for them, but for me?

Because you can’t rise carrying old pain.
You have to release the burden to make room for the blessing.

Then comes the rise, the moment you walk boldly into who you were always meant to be.
Not a perfect version, but a present one.
Fully aware, fully awake, and fully becoming.

That’s where I am now.
That’s where Milano is now.
And that’s where I believe you are too.

I know this season hasn’t been easy for many of us.
So many people feel stuck, juggling work, relationships, family, trying to keep it all together while quietly wondering, Where did I go?

I get it.
We pour into everyone else, and somewhere along the way, we forget to pour back into ourselves.

But this, right now, is your reminder to pause.
To fill your cup again.
To put your mask on first, like they say on the airplane.

You can’t keep saving everyone else while slowly losing yourself.

God gave each of us a calling.
And most times, our calling is connected to someone else’s purpose, meaning when you rise, you help others rise too.

That’s why this moment matters.
That’s why Reborn matters.

Because this next chapter of Milano isn’t just about clothes.
It’s about calling.
It’s about using everything God placed inside of me, and inside this brand, to help you remember who you are, whose you are, and what’s still possible.

To help you grow.
To help you believe again.
To remind you that even when life doesn’t make sense, it’s still moving you toward purpose.

As we step into this new chapter, I’m excited to finally share the first drop from our Reborn Collection, the Reborn Hoodie.

This piece carries the scripture John 13:7, “You do not realize now what I am doing, but later you will understand.”
It’s a reminder that even when the path doesn’t make sense, God is still connecting every line.

The Reborn Hoodie represents trusting God’s process, releasing what no longer fits, receiving what’s meant for you, and rising into who you’re called to be.

Wear it as a reminder that you’re not behind. You’re right where you need to be, becoming everything you’re meant to be.

As we step into our 13th year, I’ve learned something beautiful about the number 13.
It symbolizes renewal and rebirth.
It marks the end of one cycle and the start of another.
That’s exactly what this moment is for all of us, a reminder that growth is never wasted, and every ending carries the seed of a new beginning.

Thirteen years in, and I’m more grateful than ever.
Thank you for walking with me.
For believing in me.
For growing with this brand, even when it was still finding its way.

You are the reason we do this.
And you are the proof that dreams still live, evolve, and rise again.

Here’s to letting go of what no longer fits,
to walking boldly in what does,
and to becoming everything God called us to be.

We are Reborn.
Together.

With love and gratitude,
Milan Harris 💫
